Subject : Spring Maintenance Update
The weather this spring has made it difficult to get things done. At this point we are still trying to reach a "full service" level. However, we did complete the placement of new Kentucky bluegrass sod around number seven green. This entire area will be marked as "ground under repair" for a minimum of three more weeks. Also, we will attempt to aerify number four green and number twelve green Monday, May 14th.

Subject : golf course opening update
The golf course opened on the following dates in the past: 2006/March 28th, 2005/April 7th, 2004/March 28th, 2003/April 12th, 2002/March 29th and 2001/March 23rd. Frost levels are usually the determining factor for opening. This year there is a light amount of frost in the ground. If the snow melts quickly opening in March is possible.
